I have a niece that has tried to kill herself three times by overdosing on sleeping pills because she raped when she was 15 years old by a friend of hers, this friend and another boy planned the attack on two girls, my niece being one of them. Her friend fought off her attacker. He has never been brought to justice and to this day denies it. The police refused to pursue the matter saying it was her word against his. She has severe flashbacks and emotional trauma and in writing this I am literally attempting to heal her somehow with some kind of suppport because her family has had very limited resources for pursuing this.

I need some help regarding a domestic violence case I have pending in Orange County, CA.
My ex-boyfriend assaulted me and I don't feel the police department I reported the case to has taken the situation seriously. I'm afraid he will get away with hurting me, due to their mishandling of the case. I have no confidence in the investigator assigned to my case, as she seems biased.
I need help ASAP. If anyone can guide me toward the right direction, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

El pasado 12 de Abril , me atrevi a poner una orden de restinccion en contra de mi esposo, ahora el dice que yo gozaba de lo que me hacia , estoy muy nerviosa que le creean a el y no a mi por ser ilegal , el es ciudadano americano y tengo mucho miedo.

Este es un caso de una extranjera que vino en busca de trabajo a Bs.As.
Esta chica de nacionalidad Paraguaya se anoto en una agencia de trabajo para chicas con cama,esta agencia se comunico con ella diciendole habele conseguido trabajo en una casa de familia y que tenia que ir a la agencia que la pasarian a buscar.se presento un hombre(empresario)el cual seria su patron la llevo a un departamento situado en el Partido de Lanus,la chica al llegar al departamento pregunto por la señora de la casa el hombre le dijo que estaba en la casa de la madre y que vendria a la noche,el se fue a trabajar,cuando regreso al departamento "la violo" la dejo en el departamento bajo llave y se fue al segundo dia paso lo mismo pero reiteradas veces durante toda la noche y el tercer día ella queriendo escapar (del balcon al del vesino)del departamento en un septimo piso cayo al vasio.Ella actualmente esta internada en el hospital Evita de Lanus con un cudro de fractura de cadera,ambas piernas,algunas costillas y la pelvis.Ella tiene miedo que el agresor vaya al hospital e intente hacerle algo mas grave ya que el domicilio donde ella se encontraba esta muy serca del hospital donde se encuentra. Necesitamos su ayuda.

I don't know what to do or if anything can be done. I was raped 12 years ago by a Massachusetts police officer. I was only 13 yrs old, he was 27. He was related to my step fathers half-brother. When I told my family what had happened he had already raped me twice. They told him to never come back around and told me to let it go, to save the family from embarrassment. So I did my best to forget about it and move on. It still never left my mind or soul. It change me and my life forever. I am now married and pregnant with my second child (girl). For some reason in the past few months those memories and feelings have been a growing pain in my head and stomach, and now it is giving me nightmares and insomnia. I know some part of me wants to punish him for what he has done although, I think it also could help the community to know who he really is and hopefully prevent him from taking another little girl's innocence and destroying her life.

I came across your website as a link to Brittany Syfert. She was a beautiful child with such a bright future. She was murdered by her boyfriend Caleb Flitcroft at her 20th birthday party in front of her parents, siblings, family and friends. After 2 years of excuses it was scheduled to go to trial last monday. The parents of Brittany went to her office and requested that Keith handle the case since he was the only one familiar with it and she agreed that would be best.....the fired him that night! He even agreed to stay on and work the case for free he was so committed to it. He was denied. The parents were then called into separate meeting with DA Lintott and told that the defense had an offer of a plea bargain dropping the charges to Voluntary Manslaughter. It would appear that she intends to use Britt's murder as political payback to Flitcroft's attorney Anne Moorman, since she was a huge financial supporter in her campaign to get elected to office. It sickens m!
e to think that woman has taken an oath to defend the people and she is so dishonest. Mendocino county is no better that Passalacqua in Sonoma County. Why do we have to be victimized a second time by the very person we should be able to trust to look out for our best interests!? I feel that THIS is a crime in itself and they should be held accountable and punished accordingly!
